ROYAL INSTITUTION OF SURVEYORS MALAYSIA

Royal Institution of Surveyors Malaysia (RISM) is the national professional body incorporating four surveying disciplines, namely, Building Surveying, Geomatics & Land Surveying, Property Surveying and Quantity Surveying. Its current membership stands at close to 11,000 surveyors from the corporate arena, the public sector and the academia.


The RISM visioned to be a world-class professional surveying institutions and a centre of excellence in surveying. RISM have a mission to:

  • Set and continuously improve the standards of professional practices and ethics

  • Promote the welfare and professional development of members

  • Provide quality, value-added and comprehensive services to members, and

SINGAPORE INSTITUTE OF SURVEYORS AND VALUERS (SISV)

The Institute was established in 1982 when the Singapore Institute of surveyors and the Singapore Institute of Valuers merged. The Institute comprises 3 divisions: the Land Surveyors, the Quantity Surveyors and the Valuation and General Practice.


SISV aimed to:

  • Secure the advancement and facilitate the acquisition of that knowledge which constitutes the professions of Land Surveying, Quantity Surveying and Valuation and General Practice;

  • Promote the general interests of the profession and to maintain and improve its usefulness for the benefit of the public;

  • Regulate and improve the standards of professional conduct and practice of its members.

PHILIPPINE INSTITUTE OF CERTIFIED QUANTITY SURVEYORS

​

PICQS, Inc. is an all Filipino organization comprised of Members of the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors (RICS), Members of the Australian Institute of Quantity Surveyors (AIQS), Student and Trainee Members of the RICS, Chartered members of internationally recognized QS professional bodies, QS-trained Engineers who are working towards their QS Study, Assessment of Professional Competence (APC) and Assessment of Technical Competence (ATC) towards Chartered Membership.

​

It is an organization open to Filipino Citizens who are QS trained Engineers. Currently, it has about 1200 members worldwide with Chapters in United Kingdom, UAE, Oman, Qatar, Bahrain, KSA, North America, Singapore, New Zealand, Australia and the Philippines. It was incorporated in the Philippine Securities and Exchange Commission with its base territory being the Philippines.

PERTUBUHAN UKUR, JURUTERA & ARKITEK, NEGARA BRUNEI DARUSSALAM (PUJA)

PUJA stands for the Pertubuhan Ukur, Jurutera dan Arkitek, Negara Brunei Darussalam which was established on 31stJanuary 1984. The objectives of PUJA in its constitution, among others include the promotion, fostering and advancement of the science and art of professions of surveyors, engineers and architects in line with aims and objectives of His Majesty The Sultan And Yang Di-Pertuan of Negara Brunei Darussalam.


The object of this Code of Professional Conduct is to promote the standard of professional conduct, or self-discipline, required of members of the Institution in the interest of the public and the professions. Non-Corporate members of the Institution are required to uphold the same standard and their conduct is also governed by this Code.

IKATAN QUANTITY SURVEYOR INDONESIA (IQSI)

IQSI stands for Ikatan Quantity Surveyor Indonesia or Indonesian Association of Quantity Surveyors. IQSI is a professional Quantity Surveying organization which drive consultation, profession development, construction and educational resources for public and private sector project in Indonesia. IQSI vision is to become agent of change for the development and improvement of Quantity Surveying profession for the benefits of the construction stakeholders in Indonesia.

IQSI was established with aim to:

  • Inculcate standardise perception on Quantity Surveying profession

  • Collaborate and joint development with other professional organization in expanding the implementation of good practice for construction across Indonesia

  • Establish standards that were acceptable and practical to be adopted and used for construction project across Indonesia

  • Improve quality practice of Quantity Surveying in Indonesia

  • Establish and expand the professional qualification system and standards of Quantity Surveying in Indonesia.

ASSOCIATION OF QUANTITY SURVEYORS THAILAND (AQST)

Association of Quantity Surveyors (AQST), Thailand is a professional Quantity Surveying organization registered in Thailand that promotes the Quantity Surveying profession in Thailand. 

​

The objectives of AQST in its constitution include the advancement and unity of quantity surveyors by education and research, continuing professional development and to secure uniformity in education standards and methodology by quantity surveyors in Thailand.

​

Members include persons who are also members of internationally recognized QS professional bodies such as RICS, AIQS, HKIS, SISV, RISM, etc. based in Thailand.

​

AQST corporate membership is open to corporate members of internationally recognized QS professional bodies and to QS-trained engineers with at least 5 years of relevant QS services work experience in Thailand and subject to passing an Assessment of Professional Competence (APC) interview and a Code of Conduct paper.

​

Other grades of membership include Affiliate, Graduate and Student membership subject to their specific qualification requirements.
